The House Church model at Eternal Flame is founded on the belief that Eternal Flame is a “household of God.” It receives covering and is guided by a spiritual father appointed by God to lead and provide direction for the congregation. In essence, Eternal Flame can be seen as the household of faith fathered by Charles and Rene.

What is a House Church?

Eternal Flame operates as one family unit, representing the church in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. We organize into smaller groups, called ‘House Churches’, based on geographic location, each functioning as a spiritual family unit led by “spiritual parents” known as House Church Leaders. These leaders, appointed by the Senior Elders, provide guidance and care to their specific “households.”

Currently, we have eight house churches spread across different areas, each representing the larger household of faith. Through these house churches, we aim to pastor and serve the communities across our region.
